8-4-08: Willie Harris homers in the eighth
Nationals' third baseman Willie Harris hit a two-run hommer to right in the top of the 8th inning, scoring Ronnie Belliard and putting the Nationals up 9-4 over the Rockies.
Final: Nationals 9, Rockies 4 (ESPN, Denver Post, RMN).
8-4-08: Two costly errors in the third
Willie Harris lays down a bunt with runners on first and second and no outs in the top of the third inning. Aaron Cook attempts to get the force at third, but sails the ball up the left field line, allowing Emilio Bonifacio and Tim Redding to score.
Jesus Flores grounds into what should be a 3-6-1 double play. Instead, Troy Tulowitzki sails the throw wide of Aaron Cook who is covering first. Willie Harris and Lastings Milledge score on the play and Jesus Flores advances to second on the second of two costly errors for the Rockies in the top of the third inning.
